This kindergarten was rented
as the distribution centre for the container goods in Gyumri.
As described in Garth’s account in the
Autumn
2003 newsletter hundreds of needy people queued for hours
outside. When the folk entered this building they were allowed
to choose 7 items. They then have to give their passport number.
There is a lot of work involved in this distribution as the different
categories of humanitarian aid have to be displayed on various
tables (for example, ladies coats, ladies jumpers, babies clothing
etc).
