In December 2003, Armenian Ministries was
provided with funds to purchase a new multipurpose building in
Yerevan. The basement and the first floor will be used for the
humanitarian work of AM. Four large rooms and a hallway in the
basement will provide ample storage space for the goods arriving
in the containers. On the ground floor two large rooms will be
partitioned and used for reception, office, distribution of aid,
and as living quarters for the guard. There is a large kitchen
and bathroom on this floor, and access to the garage as well as
the basement. The first floor has one large room which will comfortably
hold over 150 people, ideal for meetings and training seminars.
Opposite this hall are smaller rooms which are intended for children’s
classrooms, where children will not only be taught useful skills
(Armenian, Russian, English, computing), but Scripture too. Also
on this floor we hope to open a Christian Bookshop and lending
library, with local literature as well as many translated works.
The second floor will be used for accommodation. Finally, the
third floor consists of one open plan hall and a balcony. We intend
to use this floor to provide children with recreational facilities
and organised events. Click on the thumbnails below for larger
