Spring is just around the corner
Dear Supporters,
As winter passes, the hope of spring and better weather is just around the corner. For our local workers in Armenia, winter is probably the quietest time of the year as there is very little work which can be done in the extreme cold. The children's Bible clubs have to stop because the teams can't get to the remote villages due to the snows, church attendance is often reduced as the older members of the congregation are frightened to venture outside of their homes and distribution of humanitarian aid is almost impossible apart from in the capital, Yerevan. This means we have to make the most of the months in which we can work - March to November - as we endeavour to meet both the spiritual and physical needs of the Armenians that the Lord has brought our way.
Apart from looking forward to spring, our workers in Armenia look forward to the challenges that the next few months will bring... Resuming the weekly Bible club in Yerevan and surrounding villages, distributing aid to those whose supplies are depleted after the long winter, providing spiritual refreshment in the various meetings that are held, planning for a summer of children's camps... and many others beside!
We pray that during the course of this year, we will see great blessing and the Lord's hand move mightily in all aspects of the work. Please join us in praying that the Lord will provide the necessary resources, dedication, wisdom, strength, enthusiasm and most of all, that the Holy Spirit will work in the hearts of each one who we have the privilege of meeting.
