Off to camp!

Dear Supporters,

Many of you have been kindly writing and ringing to find out how Talitha's leg is and whether we are going to Armenia. We have been in Armenia for almost a week now! Talitha's leg has completely healed from the fracture although she is still walking with a bit of a limp - apparently she will until her muscles strengthen once again.

We arrived in Armenia in the early hours of Tuesday, 14th July. We have been unpacking our cases and packing them again ready for camp. The temperature this week has been between 40 to 45 C. We will be leaving for camp in the next couple of hours. Camp starts tomorrow morning and we have 5 weeks of back to back camps. Obviously we have missed the first 4 weeks of camp due to our late arrival but we are now ready to go!

The following week of camp we have children from the village of Arteni. The second and third week we have village and Yerevan teenagers coming, the fourth week we are expecting a very large number of children from the village of Ervandashad. We have previously reported on this village and the extreme poverty in many of their houses. Many of these children will not have been to camp before. The final week is really more a youth conference than a camp. The young people, teens and twenties, are coming to camp and Michael will be doing a series for them on "The growth of a disciple" based on studies in Timothy.

Michael is also preaching at the Sunday services in the church in Yerevan. This evening he spoke on our certain and incorruptible inheritance.

Please pray for the camps as we head off. Pray for our safety and health and for children to be healthy, very happy and to learn a lot about our Lord Jesus.

Yours by Grace alone,

Perouz
